Thomas Michaelis is managing shareholder of Alameda Global Consulting Limited and project manager particularly for international assignments.
Thomas has proven business management leadership skills gained over 26 years working for globally operating companies. He was Senior Consultant and Manager with Arthur Andersen, Director Finance and Administration of an automotive component supplier group (ISRINGHAUSEN), and Director/Managing Director of consulting companies of the DTZ group. As a management consultant, his clients included Goldman Sachs, manufacturing companies, airports, real estate companies, service companies, e-commerce companies, state governments and local authorities. His areas of expertise include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Restructuring. He is also working as interim-manager.
Thomas completed his first study in Economics, Business Administration and Political Science at the University of Cologne in Germany as one of the best in class with a degree on Master level. He earned a scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation. He also holds a Master of Laws (Mergers & Acquisitions) from the University in Muenster in West Germany and an MBA with honors from the Joint Global Executive Program of Columbia University and London Business School.
